Working capital turnover analysis can be employed to assess an organization's capacity to generate sales from its short-term assets and liabilities. Working capital turnover is a critical performance indicator in retail operations due to the significant reliance on consumer demand, supplier credit, and effective inventory management. The objective of this investigation is to evaluate the effectiveness of DMart, a prominent Indian retail chain, in managing its working capital in relation to its revenue generation. The paper demonstrates that DMart can effectively convert working capital into revenue while maintaining operational performance and liquidity by examining the company's financial data.
